Lab Supply and Merck Sponsor the 2024 NZ Young Winemaker Awards

Since its launch in 2015, this competition has provided young professionals under 30 with an opportunity to demonstrate their expertise across the full spectrum of winemaking.
Contestants are tested in essential areas such as blending, laboratory testing, viticulture, tasting analysis, health & safety, presentation skills, and market knowledge. Lab Supply’s very own Adam served as a judge for the North Island regional finals, experiencing firsthand the remarkable skill and dedication of the contestants.

Congratulations to Georgia Mehlhopt, the 2024 winner, who earned the title of Tonnellerie de Mercurey NZ Young Winemaker of the Year.
