Greiner Bio-One offers a comprehensive portfolio of microplates for high-throughput screening. The plates differ in format, design, base material, color, surface properties and bottom configuration. Microplates for high-throughput screening are available with 96, 384 or 1536 well, in black, white and clear.
Microplates are typically made from polystyrene (PS) or polypropylene (PP), each offering distinct advantages. PS provides excellent optical clarity and biomolecule-binding properties, while PP excels in chemical and thermal stability. Greiner Bio-One also offers specialty microplates, like UV-Star® and SCREENSTAR, made from cycloolefins, which feature low autofluorescence, high UV clarity, and superior chemical stability.
