The Stericup® E and Steritop® E sterile filters are designed as a Greener Alternative for vacuum sterile filtration that significantly reduces plastic and packaging.
This Steritop® E is a 45 mm thread collar which uses a 0.22 μm pore size polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filter unit. The 45 mm thread directly connects to wider neck media bottles (such as Gibco® or glass bottles). Use a 45 mm threaded glass or plastic receiver bottle no larger than 2 liters.
Use only glass or plastic bottles designed for vacuum applications.
ApplicationFor Research Use Only. Stericup® and Steritop® systems are designed to reduce foaming and protein denaturation while maximizing flow and can be used for sterile vacuum filtration of aqueous solutions such as tissue culture media and biological fluids.
