DNA Marker Description

λ/HindIII

Marker is a ready to use DNA size standard. It contains two auxiliary dyes for an easy visual inspection of migration progress during the electrophoresis run. DNA marker λ/ Hind III consists of DNA fragments with a precisely defined sizes ranging from 564 to 23130 base pairs. All DNA fragments are b lunt-ended.

The λ/ Hind III size standard does not need to be incubated at elevated temperatures prior the loading onto gel.

100-1000 Ladder

100-1000 bp DNA ladder marker of molecular size, in addition to containing two dyes, allowing for visual observation of the migration of DNA molecules during electrophoresis. DNA ladder consists of fragments of a strictly defined size from 100 to 1000 base pairs. A fragment size of 500 bp is clearly marked to facilitate identification. All fragments are blunt ended. 

The length of DNA fragments and the mass of DNA: 
100, 200, 300, 400, 500 - double the number, 600, 700, 800, 900; 1000 

Usage: Generally it is recommended to apply 1 µl of DNA size standard per each 1 mm width of comb/well. Usually 2 µl to 5 µl per line.
